Blue Imp was recycling long before recycling was cool

The history of steel manufacturing, steel recycling and Blue Imp go hand in hand. Steel has been recycled for more than 100 years and the Scott family has been in the business of steel fabrication for almost as long. In the 1930s, long before recycling was cool, Blue Imp founder Simon F. Scott manufactured swings by re-using steel tubing from decommissioned steam locomotives.
