The Calm Cove play structure is a place where kids can find shelter from the “busy-ness” of the playground, self-regulate with calming finger puzzles or engage in pretend play. Loaded with easily accessible ground-level activities, Calm Cove will entertain a wide range of ages, stages and abilities. This structure meets the accessibility guidelines set out by Annex H in the CSA Standard for Children’s Playground Equipment.

"Our playground committee, made up of student representatives from grades 2-6 and a few staff representatives and myself spent considerable time determining the types of activities our students were familiar with and would like, yet at the same time having an element of uniqueness, and a focus on creative play and physical fitness...
