The Children Who Dance inclusive playground was designed to honour Cree heritage while delivering engaging play experiences for all abilities, as well as maximizing durability in an urban neighbourhood. A variety of freestanding and ground-level activities create multiple play zones so that every child can play, move and belong.

"Our playground committee, made up of student representatives from grades 2-6 and a few staff representatives and myself spent considerable time determining the types of activities our students were familiar with and would like, yet at the same time having an element of uniqueness, and a focus on creative play and physical fitness... The new proposed design exceeded our expectations, and aesthetically, being able to be built in our school colours, our new creative playground is the envy of the community.
