Side Climb

Overview

The Side Climb features rungs suspended on chain, adding a dynamic, moving element to the ascent. Positioned perpendicular to the platform, it requires a lateral approach, giving children a slightly trickier entry onto the deck. The Side Climb offers a fun way to challenge coordination and balance.

"Our playground committee, made up of student representatives from grades 2-6 and a few staff representatives and myself spent considerable time determining the types of activities our students were familiar with and would like, yet at the same time having an element of uniqueness, and a focus on creative play and physical fitness... Tasked with the challenge to be innovative in creating a design that appealed to our students, Blue Imp did not disappoint.
